Okacet Cold Tablet is a combination medication used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and upper respiratory tract infections. It typically contains Cetirizine (antihistamine), Paracetamol (analgesic and antipyretic), and Phenylephrine (decongestant). This combination helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, fever, headache, and body aches. Cetirizine blocks histamine to control allergy symptoms, paracetamol lowers fever and relieves pain, while phenylephrine shrinks swollen nasal passages to ease breathing. The tablet is usually taken once or twice daily, as prescribed. It may cause drowsiness; hence caution is advised while driving or operating machinery.
